A singing quartz point is used for producing sound. Like similar singing quartz instruments, singing quartz point crystals are believed to have therapeutic effects on the body and mind.
Sound can be produced from the crystal by lightly tapping the crystal with a mallet or rub it with a wand. This will produce a distinct, resonant sound that can last for several seconds. The sound produced by each singing point crystal varies depending on its size, shape, and quality.
