Vogel quartz is a special type of quartz crystal that has been cut and polished into a specific shape using a special cutting technique. Vogel Quartz is named after Marcel Vogel, a scientist and crystal healer who developed the cutting technique in the 1970s.
Vogel quartz crystals have a precise, hexagonal shape with two pointed ends, resembling a double-terminated crystal. Regarding the cutting process, the angles and facets of the crystal are cut to specific measurements and proportions, which are believed to amplify and focus the crystal's energy.
Per Marcel’s instructions, a crystal must be:
・hand cut with intent, skill, and understanding of the crystal and its used
・must be double terminated, cut, and polished to a specified shape
・cut completely aligned with the C axis of the quartz crystal, and
・cut to 456HZ to attune to the vibrational frequency of water.
