Product Description
Dianite Tumbled Stone Grade A 1"
Mineral Information:
Dianite is a rock rich in amphibole and is often called Blue Jadeite or Siiberian Blue Jade, due to the fact that its structure is similar to Nephrite. It was discovered in Russia in 1997 in a similar location where Charoite was found and was named after the late Diana, the Princess of Wales. The most abundant type of amphibole species seen in dianite is composed of amphibole (IV) potassic-magnesio-arfvedsonite that not only envelops abundant anhedral K-feldspars, but also appears to be associated with clustered and nest-like micaceous aggregates.
Mineral Care:
Dianite is between 6 and 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, which means it is a relatively durable stone. However it is a recent discovery and information on Dianite is harder to find due to its rarity. Since it is a rare stone, it is best to take extra care to protect it from damage.
Metaphysical Properties:
Dianite is said to provide a divine connection and is affiliated with helping people dive deeper into themselves and the world around them. The stone is said to raise mental capacity for deep insights into the world you inhabit and increases awareness of how all the life events that happen to an individual are connected in some way.
